Absolutely loved this Villa. Staff are wonderful and always keen to help with any situation. The gardens are very well maintained and you are always reminded that you are in a tropical garden from the tropical plants, cat fish pond, geckos, frogs and beautiful insects such as dragonflies, beetles etc Location is great with a short stroll to convenience stores and food outlets etc.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The pool was absolutely beautiful—crystal clear, the perfect temperature, and surrounded by plenty of space to relax. The garden was just as impressive, lush and well-maintained, making the whole place feel private and peaceful. The villa itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the experience even better they were really amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, stylish escape!

Villa Gembira is a stunning villa that managed to be a quiet and peaceful space despite being relatively close to a bunch of restaurants and things. There is a cafe 5minute walk from the villa called Watercress which is helpful if you’re not bothered to trek it further away for meals. And if you’re comfortable riding a motorbike there are some amazing restaurants not too far away too! The beach is about a 5 minute walk as well but isnt very nice and you can’t swim there. The staff at villa Gembira are so so lovely and make the best breakfasts! And the villa provides cheap massages that are actually really good. Overall we loved our time at Villa Gembira! Would 100% recommend!!

We stayed at Villa Gembira for 10 nights and we had a fabulous time. The staff were great, cooking lovely breakfasts every morning (the nasi goreng and the mie goreng are delicious), and tending the pool and garden. The Villa is in a quiet location yet only a few minutes walk from numerous cafes and restaurants. For a longer walk we waked along the beach to the shopping streets of Seminyak (best done in the cool of the morning). The pool is absolutely delightful, and sitting in the cabana in the afternoon with a book was heavenly. We had numerous massages organised by the staff, all of which were great. Highly recommend Villa Gembira for a relaxing stay.

The villa was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay We enjoyed lazing by the pool and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach but getting taxis and getting around to other locations was a bit of a problem due to thick traffic so allow extra time to go further away..

My friends and I moved from Senang (just next door) after some of our friends went home and we needed something a little smaller and Villa Gambira was the perfect option. Very similar vibe and staff. Another glorious pool, staff and their breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was the perfect place to finish off our stay in Bali !

Villa Gembira is awesome. We stayed here as a family of 4 whilst the remainder of the group stayed in villa senang next door. This villa is perfect for a small family or two couple. Gave us the privacy we needed with our young children with everything we needed pool, lounge, kitchen etc. beautiful villa with amazing staff. Couldn’t fault.

We loved our stay here in this villa. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The villa garden is gorgeous however Flo opened his foot on a broken stepping stone. The showers could use a little work. It didn't bother me but they spray everywhere. Minus these two things we very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you for all. You are the best!

Me and family had a great time in Villa Gembira and the experience was fantastic! The booking service was great , crew was friendly and very helpful! Villa was fantastic, morning breakfast was tasty and the freshly made juice was great too ! Only 10 mins walking to beach from the Villa and very near Main Street as well. Overall experience is fantastic and I will definitely contact Villa Finder to arrange my next trip to Bali!

The villa is lovely - very clean and spacious with a nice pool area too. The beach is only a short walk away too, which was appreciated. The staff at Villa Gembira are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, whether this is arranging massages in the villa, booking taxis or arranging laundry services. Villa Gembira is midway between Seminyak and Kuta so each of these areas are easily accessible. So you can have the tourist areas as well as an insight into "real Bali" in the immediate vicinity of the villa if you want it. Breakfast is included in the price of the villa. Whilst this was tasty, it was the same each of the four days we were there. Had we been there longer, then I think we would have got fed up of eggs and bacon each morning, and would have been looking for more variety but I suspect that this could have been had we accommodated, had we asked. All in all a very nice villa in a good location.

My friend and I had the MOST amazing 8 nights at Villa Gembira. The Villa itself is huge - so much garden space and the fish pond and pool are spectacular. We felt so well cared for by the incredible staff who cooked our breakfast and tidied our room and looked after the garden and pool. The Indonesian breakfast was truly wonderful and staff came and went so quietly we were never disturbed and really appreciated the setting of mosquito coils each afternoon evening and the setting of our rooms with the mosquito nets. We loved watching the fish in the pond and the geckos and tiny frogs in the garden. The pool area is wonderful - the pool itself is delightful and the sun lounges and gazebo were perfect for lazy afternoons. The location of the villa is so terrific - it’s tucked away in a quiet location and yet only a 5 minute walk to the street with shops, restaurants, massages and the beach. The best of both worlds - peaceful and bustling. It’s going to be very hard to leave and I really hope I am able to come back and visit again with my family. It was a great time to visit with all the kites in the sky and the penjor everywhere. Bali is so beautiful.
